Drayton grange 2
Gregory Celtic Under 14 Girls 5

Celtic, took on Drayton, in the final match of the season, and despite the hot weather, it was a cracking game of football, the Celtic girls scored four all together, Abbie Mackenzie 2, alice fit 1 and Kimberley Webb, with a great solo effort, and also an unfortunate own goal, with Drayton’s scoring 2, and the score line did not reflect the game, end to end stuff, well done to both teams for a great match to watch, well done to the Celtic girls this season, we have again played some very good football this season, and hope we can improve on the next season, the team would also like to send on our best wishes to Blisworth for this season winning the treble, and remaining unbeaten, well done.

Would moving kids' football to a summer game help improve the development of young footballers?
Yes - better pitches mean a better chance to develop technique/skills
No - wouldn't make any real difference to development
Maybe - but I'd be worried about more injuries on firm pitches
